Trappe is one of Talbot County's smaller towns - but it has an outsized history. A crossroads hamlet that got its start in mid-1700s. Two Maryland governors - the 18th, Samuel Stevens and the 20th, Daniel Martin called Trappe home. J. Franklin Baker - "Home Run" Baker from the 1911 World Series was born here. A great place to escape and filled with lots of charm.
